I grew up in Las Vegas, NV, where I had a garden of 250 roses for 20 years in the hot, dry Mohave Desert. I exhibited them in Las Vegas Valley rose shows, and in the Pacific Southwest District shows. After a hiatus of about 15 years, I moved to Kennesaw, in north Georgia. My partner promised me a rose garden if I would move here! He built a beautiful terraced, raised bed that would hold only 40 of my new and old favorites. That’s plenty in this humid, rainy climate! Although I was a Consulting Rosarian in Las Vegas, after making such a climate switch, I have more questions than answers… So I’m looking forward to this Forum!
