Hello rose lovers!
I am Irena Fabjan from Slovenia (Europe), one of you with roses in my heart.
According to the agreement with the old site administrator, I can post news about the NEW book (sept.2024) on the site, and I am happy to do so, hoping that it will find the right people who are interested in it.
Something, somewhere up there, suddenly, unexpectedly, called me to HYBRIDISING ROSES. At the beginning - in 2011 - I was already reading about creating new rose varieties through breeding, sowing seeds and all that goes with it.
One day at a Zoom workshop we were discussing books. What do you like to do? What are you passionate about? That’s when it started. I wrote it because I have not come across a recent NEW book with this focus, only one with excerpts or a description of several breeders at the same time.
This book is written from the heart. It has just been released on Amazon in September 2024 and you can find out more about it on the book website and on my FB page under Contacts.
