Purchased some Felco 6 for my gardening chores. They are great but want to make sure they last!
How do you clean/care for them after each session?

Google suggests this:
To maintain your Felco pruners annually, perform a deep-clean, sharpen the blade, lubricate the moving parts, and adjust the tension. Taking your pruners apart once a year keeps them functioning perfectly for decades. [1, 2, 3]
Step 1: Disassemble the Pruners
Remove the spring and loosen the center pivot bolt and micro-adjustment nut using an adjustable wrench or the Felco adjustment tool.
Lay out the pieces in order (blade, bolt, washer, spring, etc.) so reassembly is easy. [1, 2]
Step 2: Clean and Degrease
Scrape away old, hardened sap, debris, and grease.
Use a biodegradable resin remover, orange oil, or WD-40 to break down sticky sap on the blade and handles.
Scrub the metal parts with a scouring pad or steel wool. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Step 3: Sharpen the Blade
Secure the blade in a vice or hold it firmly.
Use a Felco diamond sharpener (or a whetstone) at a 23-degree angle.
Make even, sweeping strokes moving outward and toward the tip of the blade.
Flip the blade over and give the flat backside a couple of light swipes to remove any metal burrs. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Step 4: Lubricate and Reassemble
Coat all working parts (like the pivot bolt and spring connection) with a high-quality lubricant like Felco 990 Synthetic Grease.
Reassemble the pruners. Tighten the center nut just enough so the blades bypass each other smoothly but firmly with no gaps.
Lightly spray the entire metal surface with Felco 980 Spray to create a protective, waterproof seal against rust.
