Welcome Dena, can you tell us the name of the climber? How old is your climber and how many canes does it have?
Depending on the type may change how it is pruned. For example Climbing Peace or any climbing sport of a hybrid tea can be pruned differently, ditto for climbers that only bloom in the spring, e.g., Lady Banks.
