Hi,
I have a friend whose sister passed away a few weeks after having a baby. It’s been devastating to the family and I found this wonderful poem about a rose growing through the garden wall.
Her name was Janelle and I’ve found some places I can buy fresh Janelle garden roses
I’d like to get a Janelle Garden rose bush for them to plant in their garden in her memory, but I do not know a lot about roses and I am having trouble finding out the actual name of these roses as I believe Janelle is just a marketing name.
There aren’t any Janelle garden rose bushes so I need the actual name
I am hoping someone can help me figure out what these roses actually are so that I can know what to order.

Not many folks view the forum, yet. You may be better off joining Paul Zimmerman’s Facebook page, thousands of rose lovers are on that page. Unfortunately, there is no Janelle rose listed in The 2025 Combined Rose List.

Found it on flower marketplace.com as cut flowers from Colombia. You would need to create an account, order the roses, then try and propagate from cuttings. Do not know when Janelle was registered. It may have to be over 20 years (re. patent) in order to propagate. Good luck, and let us know if it works.
