This was my favorite rose bush. We had to dig it up and pot it late last fall due to construction in the area. It hasn’t leafed out yet and we are in 7b. We trimmed it substantially and it scratches green in some parts, but zero signs of leafing out. Heartbroken about it and I want to buy a new one if you all could kindly help ID.
It was extremely fragrant, clustered blooms (many on a stem), roses about 2 in in diameter or so. Bush got to about 3.5 or 4 ft tall. Nasty thorns on this. It used to bloom all the way through fall.
Could I somehow take a cutting of it? No new growth this year so it’s only older, thick green.
