Hello, please help me to identify the rose on the picture. I bought it as cut flower and the label says “ Garden rose”.
Thank you.
Florist roses are very different than garden roses, even though the vendor labeled it as ‘Garden’ rose. If you passionate about finding its name, visit some floral shops and perhaps ask if they can identify it. Who knows, if we have any florists that look at this forum, they may know. If, however, you want to grow a rose that looks similar, research: White Princess, Cajun Moon, Top Cream, Randy Scott, Crescendo, Belinda’s Blush, Bolero, White Gold. Wisconsin Roses sells White Princess, Heirloom Roses sells some of the above. I just bought a Sugar Moon, it is a beautiful, pure white rose and very fragrant, bought from Witherspoon Rose Culture. Roses, Peonies, Clematis and everything rose, peony and clematis related. can help you find vendor and so can the Combined Rose list 2025.
Former florist here. These look like what we called Tibet Roses. What that translates to in the rose world unfortunately I don’t know. They are beautiful roses and last a long time in a vase.
