Hi!! I have two climbers that seem to possibly have Rose Rosette. One is Tess d’ubervilles and the other is New Dawn. I used ai and it said that the Tess (pictured below) had possible signs of RRD and that it for sure had scale. Please help with any advice! Thank you!!

I see definite saw fly damage. As for the other, do you have Chilli Thrips where you are? Their damage can appear quite a bit like what your photo shows.
I’m in zone 8a, Central NC and I do believe that we have chilli thrips here. I’ll do some research on that to learn more about it. Also, thank you for responding!

Those deformed leaves do look like RRD. Go to roserosette.org for more info. If you can take several of the distorted canes to your local state extension office for diagnoses at their lab, they should be able to let you know.
In the meantime, if you haven’t already dug it up, spray all your roses with bifenthrin before sundown to avoid spraying any pollinators.
