Predatory mites for chili thrips

I live in zone nine Houston Texas. Is it too late to put out predatory bugs for chili trips? I am having an infestation and have been sprained with chemicals, but would prefer to use another method.

I searched Google for your question and this is what it suggested:

The best time to release predatory insects for chilli thrips in a rose garden is late spring to early summer, as this is when thrips are most active and before their populations become too large to manage. Introducing predators early allows them to establish a population and control thrips before they cause significant damage to your roses. Here’s why this timing is ideal:

Thrips are the most active in spring and summer. Chilli thrips thrive in warm weather, so their populations tend to increase during those months.

Predators need time to establish. Releasing predators early allows them to reproduce and build a population that can effectively suppress thrips.

By introducing predators early, you can potentially avoid the need for more aggressive treatments later in the season.

Take a look Arbico’s website. It has some very helpful information on predatory insects. Also please contact the Houston Rose Society’s ARS Consulting Rosarians. For sure one of them could help you the control of Chilli thrips.
