When I moved to North Florida, the property we bought had a Rose bush. It has survived 3 hurricanes. I’m new at this and don’t know how to prune it. It is early November and the bush is at least 6 ft tall. I don’t want to hurt it!
It had small, but beautiful Red roses in the late spring. Thank you for your help!
Welcome to the forum Angela. Depending on where in you live in Florida will determine the best pruning times. You can always prune out any dead canes. Go to the ARS website and find the closest rose society to your area. A Consulting Rosarian will give you the best advice. The type of rose you have will also determine how you prune it.
