My Angel Face came back from hard winter, at least half of the print did, and it has been blooming nicely. In the last few days, new growth is showing up distorted. I have looked for insects but not found any. Any idea what might cause this?

I’ve seen flower thrips as well as Chilli Thrips cause foliage distortion like that.
Did you have a cold snap recently? Sometimes cold temps can cause new leaf distortion.
It has certainly been cooler than normal from time to time. Certainly cooler nights than normal for this time of year. And recently lots of rain. You could be right.
