I have been having an increase amount of leaf and bud damage this year and trying to understand what is causing it. This is my second year not using chemicals in my garden - relying on beneficial insects and bio fungicides. Showing a few pictures - could this be thrip damage. We don’t have chili thrips in Wisconsin as far as I know but we do have Western Flower Thrips. Thanks for your help!

The leaf spots aren’t typical of Western Flower Thrip damage. Even the bloom damage is atypical of thrips. I suspect a different insect is doing this, something like a leaf footed bug, squash bug, stink bug, leaf hopper (on the leaves), Earwigs? Contact Baldo!
I have had the western flower thrips and this does not look like it. Why not put some of those yellow sticky pads out and see what you can catch on the sticky pad and send it to your cooperative extension and they will analyze it for you. Amazon has them and I think you get like 12 big pads for a few bucks.
