What are pesticide Modes of Action

There are two types of Modes of Action.

  1. The pesticides action on the plant or pest; systemic, contact, etc.
  2. The mode by which the pesticide acts on the pest.

The second type is important to prevent building up a resistance.

The chart below may aid in your selection of alternate pesticides.
