I clicked on all the tabs on the menu listing on our website. What happened to the Bookshelf tab?
The bookshelves are available through “MyARS” as they were on the old site. The first time you click in you will need to register as the bookshelves are only available for ARS Members.
I was signed into MyArs, but went into the main website not realizing that so many of the links are below my personal information. Thanks.
Thanks. Maybe the “My Account” details could be put on a traditional page with just My Account information and call to actions about my membership and then another page could be for Member-Only content. More aligned with commercial sites on how we navigate. It was difficult to find.
Thank you for the suggestion. We are currently limited by our Membership software that is required to confirm ARS membership before providing the information. We should be able to improve the experience following our member database conversion in 2025.
Agree! The organization of the new website is difficult to figure out. I suggest we we a volunteer committee to work on it next year.
I think that as changes occur on a website it does take time to learn. Obviously there has been a major rewrite of the website, one that included many ARS committees to ensure we were delivering the kind of information that people wanted in an easy to find way. This might be a good program for a local or district meeting too. The tab for the bookshelf is on the top header and it is called MyARS - as it was on the previous site. It works the same as before. Hope that helps but if. not I am happy to assist - Diane
