I would like to plant two more potted climbing roses in zone 7B /Manhattan.
Is it too late in the season? Will they make it through the winter and have spring blooms?
Please let me know I don’t want to waste time and money if it’s a waste.THANK YOU!

No, it’s not too late! You have until late September to plant. Cold weather is easier on rose bushes than heat.
And away I go!!! If you know of any really good rose nurseries in NYC please let me know ![]()
Hi there! Are you actually in Manhattan? I’m on 38th and Park. ![]()
I have a car and I drive out the Heritage on Long Island or I go to the Farm at Green Village in NJ for gardening supplies. But really, I buy my roses bare root online. I’ve been using Breck’s and I’m very happy with them.
The green market in Union Square will have plants.
Hi! Yes, I’m here on 1st and 102nd:-) I bought all my roses from Grace Rose Farms but I want to create a garden and looking to add more. Thank you for the info
